Different media within marketing media have their own reach, effectiveness and costs associated with them. d. Direct Mail: Direct mail advertising refers to sending promotional materials to potential customers through the mail. Direct mail advertising is a marketing strategy. Direct mail materials can include postcards, magazines, catalogs, brochures and other printed materials. The goal of direct mail advertising is to generate a response from the recipient.
2. Digital Media:
a. Website: Website advertising is also known as online advertising. It can include any type of marketing such as your blog, your website, email campaigns, social media activity. It is the use of the Internet to promote a product or service to users and audiences. However, when people talk about website advertising, they are often talking about display advertising and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
b. Social Media: Social media advertising, also known as online advertising, includes platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok that companies use to promote their product or service and reach the audience. These platforms use the internet to inform the target customers about their product or service.
c. Email Marketing: Email marketing is a form of direct marketing as well as digital marketing, using which the company promotes its product or service. Email marketing is a powerful marketing channel. It gives your customers information about the latest products and keeps the customers aware. Email marketing also reduces your marketing efforts.
d. Mobile Marketing: Companies use mobile marketing to promote their products or services through mobile phones so that the target customers remain connected. Mobile marketing is also a type of advertising activity that is being used on a large scale nowadays. New technology and features also contribute to mobile marketing.
e. Display Advertising: Display advertising is a type of online advertising that combines URL, text and images that are linked to a website through which the customer can know more about the product or service and can buy it. Such advertisements are also called rich media advertisements. There are many types of advertisements but it is done with images and text, in this the image and text also keep changing.
